How To Use The WP Spire Lite Theme

The WP Spire Lite Theme is a squeeze page theme. Any page you create will look like this:

squeeze page theme

To create a page similar to the ones above, simply create a post and enter your content as normal. To make font bigger, or change the font color, you can install a worpdress plugin called Tiny MCE Advanced.

To display the optin box, first specify the settings in the “Theme Options” panel. After you’ve set the optin box settings like pasting your optin form, display the optinbox by using [.optinbox] anywhere on your post.

It’s that easy.

Now let us run through the Theme Options panel:

Go to the “Theme Options” panel under the “Appearance” menu.

Select a color scheme from the drop down menu. This also dictates what kind of header is going to be used.

Pages That Will Use A Plain Header. By default, any post or page you create will have a squeeze page header title. If you don’t want to use a squeeze page header for a specific page, for example a a confirmation page, you can specify the post id in this text field. Any post id entered here will use a PLAIN header top instead of a squeeze page header with titles.

Show Post Title. This simple shows the post title.

Optin Box Settings:

Optin Form. This is where you are going to paste your autoresponder code. Simple paste it in here.

Optin Box Big Text. This is the text that will be displayed in a big red color. This usually says something like “Claim Your Free Download Now”, etc. The default says “Signup For More Info”.

Big Text Color. If you want to change the color of the big text, specify it in this text field. The default is a red color (#900). The format follows the hex colors or color name. Ex. blue, #404040, #0b2b1d.

Big Text Size. The default size of the big text is 22. So if you want to make it a little bit more bigger or a little bit smaller, simply change the value. The format is simply a number as shown above.
